I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Marlton, NJ)
Interview
Straight forward process with back and forth questions. Person was easy to get along with. The main person I was supposed to see called off so this person filled in.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market in Dec 2017
Interview
Had a phone screen with HR and an hour phone interview with the hiring manager. He stated they would fly me to Austin for final round interviews. Got an email from HR 4+ weeks later asking to reconfirm salary expectations, which was provided in the first phone screen. They decided to proceed with those that were most affordable.
There was no professional courtesy of a communication that they were moving forward with other candidates and the position had been filled. I've been experiencing that rather than closing out the interview process with integrity many companies just go dead silent. I hope that this trend does not continue but it was disappointing especially with Whole Foods who prides itself on doing the right thing.
