Interview
The whole process was very fast and clear. Even without passing to the next phase, Amanda was always very kind in her emails and contacts and I didn't feel that a robot was messaging me, like in other process.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at WhatConverts in Apr 2025
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me and we did a video call which she recorded. From there, she took her insights to the team. The hiring team then reviewed those insights with her. The overall turnaround time was pretty fast, just a few days.

Question 1
They were mostly interested in hearing my story about my experience and what I was looking for.

Interview
After submitting my application, I received a follow-up questionnaire asking about my design process and how I use metrics to validate my work. I actually prefer these types of questionnaires over traditional cover letters—they allow me to speak directly to what the company wants to know. In fact, I’ve had the best results with applications that include them.
Within 24 hours, their recruiter, Amanda, reached out to schedule our initial conversation for Thursday. We discussed my experience in detail, and I answered additional questions about my design process and how I’ve worked with KPIs in the past. Amanda also shared the next steps, which included a take-home assignment that they would compensate me for.
I didn’t end up moving forward, as they decided to proceed with candidates whose experience aligned more directly with the role. I was notified of their decision the following Tuesday.
Even though I wasn’t selected, the experience felt very human from start to finish. Amanda was responsive and thoughtful in all her communication—a refreshing contrast to the automated, weeks-long black holes you sometimes get with other companies. Overall, it was a genuinely positive and respectful process.
