Phone Screen -> HM Screen -> 4 Rounds Technical interviews. Very smooth process, recruiter and HM were super nice and helpful. Super happy to interview with this team and company.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Object oriented programing question, debugging question, standard python question.
Just standard process, one phone screen then 4 final-round interviews. 1 coding, 1 system design, 1 behavior and 1 hm talk. Nothing particular. The final round interviews can get scheduled at different dates
I applied online. I interviewed at Weights & Biases (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2026
Interview
The most unprofessional, mess of an interview experience I've ever had. Was asked to proceed in the interview process after the initial meeting with the CoS, for an EBP role. Was asked to proceed in process and to provide my availability and complete a take-home assessment assignment within the next 3 days. Spent a few hour of a gorgeous Saturday completing and submitting the assignment, and sent in my availability. After about 4 days and no confirmation that my submissions had even been received, I reached out to the CoS. Was ghosted. After another week, I thought perhaps something was seriously wrong, so I sent an email to the founder. (I'd be supporting them along with the team). I've never done this before, but I thought I'd reach out just in case the CoS took deathly ill, or had abruptly left the company. Nothing. Absolutely. Nothing. Not so much as a 'no-reply' automated email. It's been over a month now, so safe to say I dodged a bullet. If this is the way they treat a candidate, I can only imagine how they treat their employees.
