I applied for a Private Banking Executive role and was put through an HR interview followed by a panel interview with two managers, which I genuinely enjoyed. I was then informed the next step would be a conversation with one of the private bankers I'd be working alongside.
That was mid-April. I followed up with three emails over the following weeks — including a formal withdrawal — and received no response to any of them.
I found the interviews themselves really positive, and I left feeling enthusiastic about the opportunity. It's a shame that the experience was let down by a complete lack of communication at the post-interview stage. A simple update would have gone a long way.

I applied online. I interviewed at Weatherbys Bank
Interview
I experienced a poorly managed recruitment process at Weatherbys, uneven playing field favouring interns, hierarchical assessment culture, inconsistent communication, no meaningful feedback, raising serious concerns about fairness, professionalism, and meritocracy.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Weatherbys Bank (London, England) in Jan 2026
Interview
very friendly process in which everyone is very nice and personable. usually 2 group exercises and a 1-1 interview. they seem like a nice firm that wants to grow their people.
