Initially started with a nice conversation with the recruiter, even though they were giving me a little bit too much information. An interview was set up with the hiring manager, which went well so the rest of the process was going to be set up, which would consist of an interview with 2 engineers, another one with the hiring manager, and 1 more with an engineer and manager. I told them my availability and they said they would get back to me once set up. The recruiter got back to me with the schedule on the morning of the first of these three interviews, so I was only given a few hours of notice. I was able to re-arrange my schedule and make it work though. This interview seemed to go just fine, although the interviewers were not the best prepared and were just thinking of questions on-the-fly, which can be fine. The next day, I called called into my next interview, but no one ever showed up. I proceeded to email the recruiters assuming something must have come up, so we could reschedule; not a big deal, life happens. After a couple hours, they finally got back to me and just said they were pursuing other candidates. No apology for not showing up, nothing. This is the first time I have had anything like this happen to me. I hope this is not a reflection of the entire company, but it is possible. Moral of the story, if you see questionable signs early in an interview process, just drop out because the company would not be a good fit and this is definitely one of those cases to avoid wasting your time.
