I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Islandia, NY) in Sept 2013
Interview
I applied online , had to take a sort of long assessment, passed it. Didn't get a call even after I passed the assessment. I thought since I passed it that they would give me a call to schedule an interview. But I'm the one that had to keep calling. So finally I got the interview after about 1 1/2 weeks, and about one week prior, they called me back for orientation. Had to get a drug test done before I started working.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
When was there a time you had an upset customer and how did you handle the situation ?
Interview was pretty easy and straightforward. The starting pay was too low and I declined. Big company but pays low wages to employees not worth it. A lot of turn over it seems
It was easy and interviewer was friendly. I answered all the questions and got the job offer. It’s all about customer satisfaction and customer experience. Customer is centre of attraction here.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walmart (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2023
Interview
Mainly asks about availability and not questions. In my experience it wasn’t hard to get in but I also was recommended so that may have helped me. And there’s nothing else to tell
