I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart in Sept 2018
Interview
I got a call from the recruiter in September soon after applying online. I had a screening call with her that went well and she set up a call with the hiring manager right away. That call went GREAT. I know my field and that space very well. I sent my thank you to the recruiter to share with the hiring manager that day. And then three follow-up emails to the recruiter, not to be a pest but inquiring about the timeline, offering to answer any questions they may have about my candidacy and congratulations on a major acquisition. I have not received one reply. For those preparing for an interview or are questioning why you too have been "ghosted", this may happen and it's not you, this is apparently a common practice within this organization. It's a shame. If I have time to prep and we both have time for the interviews, I believe the recruiter should have time to send a "sorry but we're not going with you" email so we can each close the books, so to speak, on a good note.

Question 1
Considering my extensive experience, why would I want this role?
Three rounds of interviews - first by recruiter in house; second by the hiring manager and third was panel interview by team members and other leaders. It took almost 3 weeks to finish all the interview process.
SMART process, questions and answers. Prepare for a panel interview, talk through your resume, and find ways to tie your experience to the role your applying for. Come prepared and you will do well.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walmart (Bentonville, AR) in Sept 2024
Interview
Phone screen by an internal Walmart recruiter. Asked some basic questions that did not seem to gather enough information to actually help them understand if I could lead in the role.
