I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (Arnold, MD)
Interview
Easy, They came to my school for a interview fair. Dress nice and answer a few questions. Make sure to have your application with you and don't be nervous. Stay calm. Make sure to talk polite and have a good handshake. We were timed (I think it was 5 minutes) so it was a bit difficult to talk slow and calm while still trying to say everything in that time frame. I also asked the interviewer a couple questions about how she got to working at walmart and what she enjoys about it.
Phone interview and then asked to come in for in person interview. The hiring manager asked typical interview questions. Why do you want to work here? And asked bout scheduling availability,
There was a lot of questions but overall it went pretty decent. They were your standard interview questions. I am happy with the outcome but maybe I could do better next time.
The interview was brief but straight forward. I interviewed with someone and was done within 15 minutes. They asked a few questions about myself and past job experience. Then I progressed to the next steps in the hiring process. The next steps where orientation.
