I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at WalkMe (Tel Aviv-Yafo)
Interview
This is the worst recruitment process there was.
It simply felt that this was a miserable company that was exploiting its employees.
They asked me to make a presentation about the product, worked on the presentation for a whole week, and when I got there I was informed that the manager who is supposed to recruit me does not even come to the presentation.
I do not understand why they did not cancel the presentation if the person who decides is not there...
After the presentation, which was delivered to the human resources and some rude manager, the manager asked me, "Why do you want this job? It's less than what you do today." After I explained that I believed in the company future and wanted to change direction in my career, he replied, That he will take you because I'm cute because I he don't understand why i want to come and work with them.
After that, he changed tactics and said "I do not understand why I should take you, what added value you give me" and then again returned to the speech of "you more than we need"
then they did not even come back to tell me where it stands and whether we continue the process or not.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We apologize that your experience did not reflect how valuable your time and energy are to us as an applicant. The home assignments are sample projects so that our managers can assess if the candidate will be a good fit. If you were invited to the office for an in-person interview it means that your assignment was already reviewed and approved by the manager. It sounds like the comments you got from the manager were not appropriate or respectful and we’ll make sure to relay this feedback to the relevant parties to ensure that it doesn’t happen again with future applicants. Thank you.
