The overall process was very efficient. I had an initial phone screening with the Director of Engineering that started as a brief discussion on my recent work experience, what they're looking for, etc. From there it transitioned into a sequence of short-from rapid fire technical questions. Most of the questions were troubleshooting related questions (e.g. SQL query optimization). Then I got an invite to come in and take an in-person coding exam 2 days later. The exam was administered in a huddle room style office where only the development manager was present. I had 1 hour to do the test, and since I passed, I then went on immediately to the next rounds of the interview with included discussions with different team members from development, QA, architecture, etc. The questions asked during these discussions where higher level design and architecture type questions.
