I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Vititoe Law Group (City of Industry, CA) in Aug 2025
Interview
Completely unprofessional, and I question the legitimacy of this "Law Group" if it can even be considered one.
I showed up to the 6 pm interview 30 minutes early, and no one was in the building! There is a code to enter the building that I was not notified of prior to the interview. I texted and called Christine and no answer. After the security let me in, I waited for another 20 minutes, knocked on the office door; again, no answer because no one was even there! I texted to remind them they were the ones who scheduled the interview for 6pm after business hours. Finally, they show up, William is the person interviewing me. I enter the office and it is a mess. So many red flags:
1) William only spoke to me in Chinese. Despite Christine, who was my main point of contact until this point, speaking to me in English over the phone, my entire interview was in Chinese. I find it really weird that James Vititoe was named on the door, but William is the one taking in clients and seemingly acting as their attorney at 6:30 pm.
2) Stacks and stacks of people's files strewn out on every counter space and desk. There is 0 filing or organization system. It looks like anyone's case could be hidden under another stack.
3) Listed on Indeed as urgently hiring, but after seeing the office, I can tell the Legal Assistant was probably the one doing everything around there and was the only capable person working. Looks like it was a three-man team where only one person was working, and has now left.
4) The interview was 15 minutes, and he was rushing me so he could take in a client that was in the waiting area. Kept asking me irrelevant questions that do not relate to the jod description, including where I went to high school. The clients he was about to take in came in to file for divorce...but I thought this was a personal injury firm???
Idk if this place is even legit or if the actual founders know someone's impersonating their business. Unless you're applying for the one is Los Angeles, I would steer clear of this one.
