Recruiter called me after finding my resume in their database for a position I applied to nearly 10 months ago. I then had a Skype interview with the hiring manager and was invited in for an interview. I met with the hiring manager and 5 other colleagues for nearly 5 hours. After 3 emails, I never found out if I got the job or not. I guess not. I never thought that a reputable company like Visa would ghost someone.
