The CEO reached out to me thanking me for applying and then stated that I would be a good fit for another role at the company via email. I ended up having initial conversations with both hiring managers for the Account Manager Role and the Campaign Manager Role. I was told the next step was with the COO who was out of town and would meet with him when he came back. There was no communication after the second interview and when I reached out about the next steps they said "I spoke to the COO about scheduling an interview with him as a next step...and he advised that we did hire for both positions earlier this week." Pretty disappointing that there was no communication about the urgency to fill the roles and that they were filled. The next day, the CEO posted on LinkedIn that they were hiring for the Campaign Manager role. I accepted a position at another company and would have turned this one down, but I was disappointed by the lack of professionalism and honesty throughout the process.
