I applied online and was contacted by a recruiter shortly thereafter. She and I spoke briefly and ensued to schedule a technical interview video call with the team. She and the team were great -- I had some obligations that made my schedule unpredictable but everyone was super flexible and eager to accommodate.
The interview itself was exactly how anyone would want an interview to be (especially a technical one) -- the subject matter was sensible, pragmatic and relevant to the position (e.g. no eggs dropped and no salesmen traveled), and my interviewers were super chill. As anyone in my position could hope for, it felt less like I was being interviewed and more like I was just working with some dudes at work.
I was invited for an onsite, but I had some really compelling opportunities that I chose to pursue instead. It wasn't an easy decision to make since I got nothing but good vibes but it had to be made nonetheless. Awesomeness breeds more awesomeness, so I have no doubt that they'll end up with the perfect addition to their team!
