I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Vestorly
Interview
When I was on my way to the interview I got a call from the CEO cancelling the interview for that day, and rescheduling for the next day. Should have been a red flag right then.
The next day I had my 4 hour interview, I met with nearly the whole engineering team, lead engineer, founder of the company, head of product, etc. I got on well with everybody. Long story short I didn't hear back for 2 months until my friend who worked there told me they didn't end up hiring anybody. Several months later they contacted me again saying they were in a better position to hire an engineer and were interested in me and asked me to come back in for another interview, so I did. This time the whole process was a couple hours. After not hearing back for a few weeks and me emailing to find out what was up, I was told that they once again were not hiring anybody.
I still feel that I was jerked around. Very unprofessional.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Standard white-boarding questions, like compressing a string of letters ("aaaabbbccd" becomes "a4b3c2d").
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vestorly (New York, NY) in Jan 2017
Interview
2 weeks of interviews. The process ended abruptly after answering their question. I was literally hung up on after solving their problem in a couple of minutes for an hour long screen. Very unprofessional with their interview process and do not know what they want in a hire

Given a list and a number, find two numbers in the list that add up to that number
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Vestorly (New York, NY) in Dec 2016
Interview
1 phone interview, very basic where I asked a lot of questions and in return was asked about my former sales experience. 1 in person interview with 3 different people. Nice new office, young group of smart individuals.
