I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Veeva Systems in Sept 2024
Interview
After a really nice chat with the recruiter I was asked to do a 20-30 hour project using software to create workflows etc which was not listed as a job requirement so applicants are expected to teach themselves. I thought other reviews on various sites were joking when they said it could take more like 40 hours if you aren’t well-versed in this, but now I realise they weren’t. Withdrew my application as the slim possibility of 35k after this and another 2 rounds is not enough for so much free labour.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Round 1 - behavioural/CV stuff
Round 2 - solve the problems of a company using Veeva Systems software and present it to the interviewers as if they don’t understand the tech
long, 6 interviews to get rejected after a personality test as the final round. The second round was a technical assessment, after which I had 4 more rounds with different people asking me pretty similar questions.
It was informal, quick and friendly, interview was around 30-45 minutes. Interview was given before the personality test. Personality test was quite exhausting, long and difficult. Replied to emails very quickly.
First step HR interview was a good experience. Recruiter was very friendly. 45min long - talking about your motivation for the role, your background, how you align with the role. I didn't get to the next stage because I didn't show enough alignment with the role.
