I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors (Fort Worth, TX) in Aug 2018
Interview
The interview process commences after being asked to take a variety of tests based on your preferred tutoring areas. The more areas, the more tests. Depending on your qualifications you may be offered an interview immediately after doing so, as I was. The interview process was online through a webcam and consisted of 5 Questions which included 1 Written and 4 Video respondes. You get two opportunities for each of the video responses and some time to prepare so it's not difficult and really doesn't require any previous knowledge other than what you know. the last question was the longest and had you - essentially - present how you would teach a theoretical student while displaying your knowledge of the resources available. It was cumbersome but still easy.

Question 1
Display your teaching methods (pick your subject).
You are sent a link to an online video interview. They ask you about previous tutoring experience and the last question was asking you to do a mock-tutoring session. It's very awkward because you have to make up what you want to teach on the spot, but you get unlimited time to think of responses.

Interview
AI Interview, very easy. Asked very basic question's regarding experience, motivation, etc. I’m a freshman student in UMD and so I haven’t been to many job interviews, but this was genuinely easy.
