The whole interview process from application to offer for the tech world, was fast and clear. Given the long, drawn out, multi-round interviews I have experienced in the last year or so, this was a great relief. Additionally, I found the assessment they used to be psychologically sound. This wasn't a fluffy Myers-Briggs test or something that lacked evidence based research, I recognized the constructs they were testing for, and why, and understood how the questions were related to a specific fit for culture.
There were 4 rounds. I applied on Sept 16th. On Sept 23rd, I got an email asking me to take an online assessment. On Oct 1st, I got an invite to meet with the CS manager. About a day or so following that (Oct 14th), I was invited to do a presentation. On Oct 21st, I was invited to the final interview. Offer came on Oct 24th.
The only bump in the road is obtaining detailed answers about the offer. This is a startup and many people wear many hats, so it helped for me to grab time with the head of ops to ask questions within a meeting, versus going back and forth in emails.
