It was a standard interview - an in-person interview for the first (and my only) interview. There were two people present - the hiring manager and another manager (who, strangely, asked most of the questions). But they are like some of the other hiring managers and HR staff who are rude to you once you leave that in-person interview and never speak to you again. They couldn't even send a simple stock answer by email to say that they weren't considering me anymore. Apparently meeting with you face-to-face counts for nothing in their book - they can't even be courteous and tell you they've chosen someone else. It's as if you've imposed on them and their time, when it was they who asked me to come into their office for the interview. It really makes me wonder how they deal with their other constituents and stakeholders. Are they as rude and inconsiderate of them as they are to candidates for jobs?
