Straightforward, one phone screen and an onsite.
The overall recruiting process was very straight forward and informative overall in better understanding the company and role.
However, it took a month to get a response after the onsite.

Question 1
What is an initiative you worked on from start to finish
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at UnitedMasters
Interview
I was really excited about the opportunity to work at UnitedMasters, but was left disappointed by the interview process. After a phone screen with a recruiter (who was very kind and informative) I had an interview scheduled with a senior engineer and an engineering leader. In order to be best prepared for the interview I asked very specifically in advance what the nature of the call would be and if it would be a live-coding assessment. I was assured it would not be live coding so therefore I prepped for a behavioral interview. I was shocked when I got on the call and was immediately given a live coding assessment. This isn't the way to get the best out of candidates as I was not prepared and very caught off guard. Even after sharing I was told it would not be a technical interview, I was rudely told "well whatever it shouldn't matter". At least I found out that these are people I wouldn't want to work with!
6 interviews and for what… 1 recruiter, 1 hiring manager, 3 separate team members, 1 presentation to team as well as an assignment project in person at the office. the very tedious process was a sign to a micromanaging environment.
