I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at United Airlines in Jan 2016
Interview
12/28 Applied
12/29 Application Forwarded to Inflight Recruiting
12/30 Invitation for Hirevue interview
1/2 Completed Hirevue
The hirevue interview is probably one of the most difficult and awkward things I have ever done. Do the practice questions. Can't stress that enough. Make sure you are in a well lighted area. My light was bad, and I was red...that was probably the nerves vs. the light. Be prepared. No seriously. Use as much time as possible thinking about, yay verily writing answers to the questions you see on here. All questions that I was asked, practice and for real were here. I thought I was prepared, but not even close. The most difficult thing for me was applying my job as a teacher to the customer service questions. Gave it a shot though. :) I am fairly certain that there won't be a F2F for me, but the experience was beneficial for future similar experiences I will likely face. I answered "No" to the "Did you get an offer" question because I don't know the answer to that yet.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell us about yourself
Why are you a good fit for United?
How do your customers/coworkers perceive you?
What is a time you exceeded expectations in customer service? (Basically went above and beyond)
Situation you would have handled differently
How do you consistently provide excellent customer service?
I applied online. I interviewed at United Airlines (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
It started with the Assessment, followed by 8 video questions, and then the video interview. The in person final interview I am waiting for. They said I would know in 2-5 business days.
