I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at United Airlines (Atlanta, GA) in Aug 2015
Interview
They were unusually quick compared to the other reviews I have read. I applied August 15 and got and email with an invite to do the video interview the same evening.
I submitted my video interview 3 days later. I am now awaiting an email back for face 2 face interview.
There are 6 video interview questions you get 3 minutes each, a break in between each question, and 30 seconds to prepare your answer. You also get unlimited practice questions so you can get an idea of the pace. Pay attention to your involuntary movements. (Swaying in your seat, saying ump etc)
The exact questions are below.

First, you have to apply it and submit your application on United website when the flight attendant opposition is opening.
Then, you will get an assessment, kinda like a personality test.
Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
Completed the assessment and attended the optional Q&A teams meeting , I am now awaiting the virtual face to face . It’s been almost a month of waiting however in the Q&A meeting they mentioned that it can take some time possibly towards the end of summer .
