      I interviewed at United Airlines

      Interview

You must attend a Inflight Services Career Fair in the state in which you reside. I attended the California LAX event. There were approximately 500 people or more that showed up between the 9am to 4 pm time window. It is was confusing and there was not a lot of clear direction about where to go and what to do while waiting for something unknown to happen. There were not hardly any chairs to sit down on. After a few hours of standing around with no clear difibitive answers to what we needed to do and where we were to wait for what we did not know was going to happen … we finally got ushered into a large room with rows of chairs for a informative presentation about being a Flight Attendant for United Airlines. We then waited in the hallway in 3 lines to be escorted into a large room to speak to one of the United Airlines HR representatives to answer to. Basic questions and then we sent home. I will not give every detail about the this event. It was confusing at times and it seemed unorganized to say the least. At the same time, it was exciting to meet all of the other “want to be’s”. It was great to know that the job is so highly desired by so many other people. From what I understand, all future flight attendants will be required to attend a career fair in their home state. The informative content will start the process of many necessary goals one will need to achieve to continue through the hiring process. When each task is successfully achieved, a new task will then be given If all tasks are reached with success, sone will achieve the final resulted goal of a potential job offer to become a flight attendant with United Airlines. They are hiring a lot of flight attendants, but the potential candidates are in great abundance. The competition is going to be fierce. It is my perspective that everyone needs to be prepared for a lot of time and effort to prove you are best candidate to receive a job offer. It could take a month or even more to complete the process.

Second, you will be invited to a virtual interview. basically, you need to answer 8 questions and record your answers. You have 3 attempts to record it.
