I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unilever (Karachi) in Feb 2018
Interview
The first was filling an online form along with your resume.
The second is playing 12 online games which assess your behavioral competences such as attitude toward risk, rewards, effort etc.
The third was the digital recorded interview. I failed this part as this was very challenging. There are three questions in the form of organizational situations and one short case. The first three are behavoiural in nature. You have 30 seconds to read the question and 3 minutes to record a response. Each of these three questions had three to four sub-questions. The forth was a short three pager case which had a lot of data and you had 10 minutes to read and prepare a response and 5 minutes to record it (extremely challenging).

Question 1
You have been assigned on a project to evaluate a marketing promotion for Signal Toothpaste in which people would be given some kind of travelling kit. The product manager (to whom you are reporting) is very excited to launch. However, this promotion will consume 10% of the overall marketing budget which is the highest for any single promotion ever. You need to convince the Project Manager. Tell us how are you going to make him trust / respect you as you are new?
You are in sales. The sales people do not realize that a certain dry shampoo is not performing well as consumers buy based on the grocers' recommendation and are indifferent among brands. How are you going to use technology to solve this problem?
The short case was about calculating ROI on two digital media campaigns: one on facebook and the other on twitter. There was a chart with various financial figures such as cost of campaign, sales in volumes and dollars, product margin (dont know what this is), gross profit and others. You had to calculate ROI and were asked some other questions as well.
I applied online. I interviewed at Unilever (Istanbul) in Jan 2026
Interview
I completed an online assessment which had questions to understand my alignment with the company culture, values and personality. It continued with some numerical and verbal questions. Overall the test difficulty was average and there are a lot of videos on youtube if you want to take a look at the questions, I believe they ask the same ones.
The interview process is very long as there are multiple rounds to choose a few applicants out of >1000 applicants each year: CV => Screening Test => Digital Interview (Assessment center + 1-1 interview) => Assessment Center => Final Interview
The process was very long and it's understandable for an MNC with thousands of applications
CV => Screening test => Digital interview (Digital assessment center followed by interview) => Offline assessment center => Final interview
