1. Initial recruiter call
2. Technical test
3. Technical interview
When you pass these three stages you get a Unikie AgileDay profile and you become a "Unikie recruit". Then you need to wait until there's a client project that matches your profile.
This is where the frustration occurs with Unikie recruiters: after going through these interviews, as a Unikie recruit, you would expect to be contacted when they get a project that matches your profile. But you will see jobs matching your profile being posted on public, and when you contact the recruiters about those jobs, it looks like being a Unikie recruit doesn't make a difference as they would ask you to apply on the public job posting to be considered for that job!
Looks like the recruiters don't search the internal Unikie recruits when they get a job or they just don't understand the relevance of a candidate to a project - making the candidate's effort and time invested on the interview process useless.
Even though the roles are for the Finnish market, recruitment is being handled by some Estonian recruiters. Based on my interactions, they seem to have no understanding at all of the relevance of the technologies for a job they’re hiring for. I’m not expecting them to be technical experts, but in terms of tech recruiting, these recruiters are at the bottom of the barrel.
