I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Katy, TX) in Sept 2010
Interview
First, if you want this job, you need to be very pushy. With at least 2 applications every week, the positions fill up quick and the turnover is outrageous. If you apply online, also print out your resume and submit it in person. Call the location you want to work for in advance to know the name of the general manager and call for about 3 days after to get your name known.
Once you are able to establish communication and are offered a job, it is just one face to face interview with the manager. The interview is easy, just be yourself and mention why you are interested in selling products and you are in.
