As long as you have a portfolio, you’ll be fine. When I was going through the process, I made sure that I called the store and asked for the hiring manager and insisted on a meeting. I suggested a date and a time, and they gladly accepted.

It was quick, somewhat challenging questions but the environment was nothing short of amazing. The management team is very nice and welcoming. I showed a portfolio of my work and they loved it. Don’t be afraid to show your work and give scenarios on challenging situations you’ve faced while doing makeup and or selling products

Interview was professionally conducted and lasted about 15 minutes. Mid level manager conducted the interview who was friendly but to the point. She seemed to be in a hurry and it was apparent that she wanted to know the basics such as my previous work experience, education and training and moy salary expectations.
