Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What games did you play? Have you even been to gaming culture festivals?
What hardware do you use? If you had as much money as you need, what hardware would you choose for a perfect gaming PC?
What types of testing do you know? What would you do if lead asks you to throw a grenade at a wall 3.000 times? There is a level: you enter the room through a door, loot the chest and leave the room through the window; in 10 seconds after you enter the room guards come and kill you if you're still there; how would you test that level? During smoke test you have 5 NPCs that give you quests consequently; you can't complete 1st quest and accept next quest because of bug but complete it through terminal and then everything goes OK; is the test passed or failed?
What tasks did you complete while studying? What problems have you met? Describe a situation when you used your initiative to solve a problem. Do you have teamwork experience? Are you familiar with feedback culture?
Comment: I suppose that English is the most important skill to apply for QC job. Please ask HR to check your English if you have ~Intermediate. Upper-Intermediate spoken English is required but I think you can still pass with Intermediate if you don't tell your level and ask to check it during HR call or interview.
The process was good and smooth.
The HR was helpful and the process was fast.
3 to 4 rounds of interview. Also HR ensuring smooth on boarding.
Screening , Technical interview, Managerial round.
This was the process of 2022. The process might have changed now.

I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Pune) in Jul 2025
Interview
I had 1 assessment then after 2-3 weeks I got shortlisted for technical interview, and it was quite smooth. The interviewer asked focused more on knowledge and real life scenarios rather than just simple terminologies. There were two person in the panel. They were pretty chill and relaxed. They also gave me situations to analyze the analytical skills. Couple of days later the HR informed that I cleared the technical round and she scheduled my HR interview, which went smooth. The HR was very polite. Overall, the interviews went smooth. Unlike other companies where HR ghost's you.
