What are your career as our stover the next five years?
It was too rigid. The interviewer did not know how to interpret responses that he felt like were outside of the STAR method. As we evolve the criteria and role expectations, the way we interview should evolve as well.
The recruiter essentially told me the only people who have a chance at getting jobs like this: 1) have double the job experience required by the ad 2) have masters degrees 3) have a distinguished military career 4) know someone in senior leadership that will help them get the job.
Also, the culture seems very arrogant.
