      Business Operations Analyst Interview

      15 Jun 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Antonio, TX
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at USAA (San Antonio, TX) in Feb 2018

      Interview

*** I know that USAA is highly rated, and that is part of the reason I applied *** Seems like a typical process, submit application online, wait for someone to call you, or to get an email that says "Thank you for your interest in USAA. For each opportunity, several candidates are considered. We regret to inform you that we have made the decision to pursue other candidates whose qualifications more closely match the needs of the position. Your recently updated status can be found at:". This email can happen from immediately to months after you applied. My interactions with recruiters at USAA has been not as friendly as one would hope, but if you have been trying to find a job lately, you know that this process at many companies is "broken" and that is putting it nicely. I have numerous industry qualifications and experience, but have only managed to get one interview, which, as you will see did not go well, and every other application has been dispositioned "No Longer Under Consideration" without even an initial phone screen. Others just languish in an "Application Received" status for months on end. I even reached out after the interview I did have to inquire about feedback so I can learn and apply the information as a whole, but nothing.
