It was for the graduate Scheme. I completed an online exam and then completed an assessment centre which included writing an essay, completing an exam and then working with an economist to work through questions I didn't know. Also included a personality and STAR type interview.

Lengthy process, after the initial rounds I was asked to submit a document of answers to specific questions. I then took part in the economic assessment centre which was a four hour online interview with various tasks and finally completed the final economic interview with further assessments and an interview. this process took 6 months from start to finish.
