I had a first round of telephone call that was very odd. The person was not very well prepared for the discussion and ended up asking some very naive questions. This was supposed to be a filter round but we hardly spoke for 10 minutes. The person was going through my resume at that very moment.
I was then asked to do a finance test [can safely assume that the telephone round was successful] which was to be submitted within a week. The test was quite long and took me nearly 10 hours. After that, I just got an email saying that the company would not be able to take this forward.
When asked for a feedback on the test, I was told that the company does not give feedback. This is so not done and unethical. A candidate has spent 10 hours on a test and the company cannot spend few minutes to give a feedback.
I was really disappointed, more from the attitude of the company.
