I applied for the Senior Product Designer role on Jun 30, they got back to me two months later on Aug 30. I had a video call with Ines Lopes, the People and Culture Executive. She advised that they will get back to me with an update by the end of the following day, at the latest. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them.
I should have read the reviews here on Glassdoor before I applied, as it seems this is a common thing for Trouva to ghost their candidates.
I was a loyal Trouva customer from the very beginning, and needless to say, I will never use their services ever again. It seems they ignore the fact that their candidates could also be their users.
The reason why I’m writing this review is not only to share my experience but to also let people know more about the brands they choose to trust. It’s very important, especially during these difficult times, where customers are more conscious than ever about where to spend money, to have more in-depth information about brands’ ethics.
