Applied online and emailed a note directly to the hiring manager. Next day had an interview on the books with a recruiter, who moved me to the the next round with said hiring manager.
Generic interview "tell me about yourself" style. I sensed hesitation on the hiring manager's end and asked if she could share any concerns she might have, was told no. No response to a "thank you" email, nor did I get a response asking for any feedback when a couple days later I received a generic rejection email.
