I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Trendyol (Istanbul) in Nov 2025
Interview
I previously applied for an interview with my original CV, which included my international experience, and received a rejection. Later, when I changed the international experience to "freelance" and reduced the number of years of experience, they called me right away. The caller initially said things like, "Your experience is very valuable." I couldn't understand. I had written "freelance." During the technical interview, the team leader belittled some of my answers with his facial expressions. When he asked for the names of freelance companies, I told him I had worked abroad. This time, the team leader started asking more challenging questions. They could have at least sent me a case study, but thankfully, they didn't. Even the interviewers' facial expressions suggested a toxic, ego-intensive environment.
