Very dragged out process. Pretty normal interviews but it spanned over a lot of time so I had to go with another opportunity. The people were nice, and questions were typical for engineering interviews.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TransEnterix (Morrisville, NC) in Jan 2018
Interview
I did a number of phone and in-person interviews over the course of two months. The HR department took care of planning/logistics. What stood out to me was how easy it was in terms of communicating back and forth. I was kept in the loop on the status quo at all stages during the process. Questions I asked were answered in a straight forward and unambiguous fashion. More importantly, all questions I received were substantive and relevant to the job. The atmosphere and tone during the process was 'casual', but always highly professional. As an interviewee, I felt very comfortable at all stages. In a nutshell, I couldn't be more happy how well everything got handled by TransEnterix, especially the HR department.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TransEnterix (Morrisville, NC) in Feb 2018
Interview
The interview process was extremely smooth. I initially did a phone interview with Senior Human Resources Director. I was then asked to come on site for a face to face interview with 4 leadership members from different teams. I was sent an itinerary via email 3 days before, for all 4 interviews. The entire process was very well organized. Their questions were all direct and very relevant to the position but they all were very friendly and easy to talk to.
