I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Trailborn (New York, NY) in Apr 2026
Interview
Similar experience to a previous candidate who posted here a few years ago: The interview was only half an hour so I tried to make the best of it but the interviewer didn't seem to care the moment we said hi to each other and was pretty distracted. I was asked a lot of weird abstract questions despite being told that this job wasn't rocket science. I put together relevant portfolio work and information for this interview to find out that the work presented didn't seem to match what they were looking for. It felt like there was a lack of information constantly and if I'm being honest, the role wasn't presented very clearly and the interviewer didn't seem like an easy-going person.

Interview
I would say this interview was a bit jarring. The person who was conducting the interview made it clear they was not interested in me within 3 minutes of jumping on the call, even though they was 5 minutes late. They were expecting a picture perfect background of a candidate. While answering questions that I was asked they cut me off multiple times to ask a new question.

Question 1
They asked me to run through my background and then essentially belittled my experience.
