The CTO keeps asking you to showcasing your "curiosity" beyond your regular work within the 6 months and pre-assume people's curiosity based on the activity outside regular work. This is unfriendly for people working with large enterprise which cannot open source their code base directly. When it comes to asking the way on how to align different "curiosity" or "intentions" among engineers in team and conclude a uniformed tech direction, CTO seems don't have any preparation for it and just says we pay huge for the right person.
