It's a phone screen. I said I needed sponsorship and the interview was done.
I think it's interesting because the recruiter could have emailed me to ask about my visa status but she scheduled a call. It's fair though.

Question 1
Do you need sponsorship? What's your working visa?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Tonic.ai (San Francisco, CA) in Dec 2022
Interview
Really positive interview. Loved chatting with the team so far. Interviews have been fair and informative for me. Always taking time to make sure that I feel comfortable and fit with the role. Really looking forward to the rest of the process!
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Tonic.ai in Jul 2022
Interview
Everyone I spoke to was very nice. First round was a conversational 30 min phone interview. Second was a 60 min video call and very small live coding challenge with the VP of engineering. Third was a longer coding challenge with a member of the engineering team.
I got nervous and choked on the longer challenge, but the problem was reasonable and the interviewer was fine.
As described there would have been two more interviews, one design/architecture related and a final one with a higher up.
They sent an email thanking me for my time in a couple days.
