First was a call about the reasoning why you applied and about experience etc. . Second was a coding challenge including a merge request that should be reviewed. Thirdly was a behavioral interview with two small tests before. One behavioral index test and one which was like an iq test.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Tomorrow in Jan 2025
Interview
1- HR Call
2- Case Study (2h before the call with the Product Team) / Presentation and interview with the Head and Junior Product Manager.
3- Intelligence and math tests.
4- Interview with the C-lvl, Head, and HR. (Again, behavioral questions).
Here are some points of confusion:
– The C-Level executive left the interview, which was meant to be an introduction to the candidate. Allegedly, another meeting overlapped. Mind you, they are trying to fill a manager position.
– The Head was chatting and doing something else during both meetings, putting on a smart facade.
– Overall HR processes are stuffed with classic recruitment practices from traditional German banks, the same practices the company is trying to move away from on paper.
– A couple of times, I got the feeling that I was being discussed negatively in the company chat even before the meeting ended.
– Crowdfunding instead of investments looks attractive from the outside, but apart from HR, no one clearly confirmed that the company had really reached break-even through its business model.
– The process, approval, and review are very slow.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Why Tomorrow?
2. How do you support better tomorrow?
3. What's your ideas to make Tomorrow great again?
The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tomorrow
Interview
The process took 3 stages, with the first screening stage to make sure there was a cultural fit and alignment in the goals. The second interview was a portfolio interview, where we went through 2 case studies. The final interview was a design challenge that was provided to solve in 4 hours, and present to 2 members of the team. Overall I enjoyed how the hiring manager and HR communicated through the process and always provided feedback. They were always available to answer questions, and the process was smooth and relatively fast.
