I applied online. I interviewed at Tilted Needle (London, England)
Interview
Generic interview questions that did not pertain to the role whatsoever. Never heard back despite following up several times. The interviewer had clearly not looked over Cv/relevant documents and was simply reading questions from a script.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Tilted Needle in Apr 2025
Interview
Disorganised from first call to the second which is how far I reached and refuse to go further. Yusuf the founder of tilted needle was everything but an appropriate interviewer.
I appreciate him squeezing myself in for an interview but I would have rather rescheduled, than getting interviewed by someone who was in a car travelling, asking me heinous questions on a phone and not even a laptop. Need I say he was 20 minutes late to it. As well he was seemingly disinterested in what I was saying and cold-heartedly showed not wanting me on board. Frankly I couldn't care less because of this experience. And looking at his LinkedIn profile, I can see why the quality of the interview was very appalling, he seems to not have any idea how these things are supposed to work.
Asking me about my grades in GCSEs and A-levels felt like I was being judged based on my past achievements rather than my current interests and education with transferable skills. To add insult to injury, ridiculous questions about behavioural tendencies on chairs and a thousand apples being sent to an office in a day is unprofessional and very much unnecessary in determining people's qualifications. It's a job interview, not an IQ test. I believe that people would also appreciate him looking at the person he's supposed to be interviewing rather than his surroundings.
It was the worst, most incredibly laughable so-called interview of my life. It's good I knew now.

Question 1
If I needed you to deliver 1000 apples in the office and you had one day, how would you go about it?
