First was an email from the CEO asking to have a phone call. This was informational and he did most of the talking. Then I met face to face with the CTO, this one felt a bit more like an interview but still comfortable and professional. That was followed by 2 employee phone calls, both were them probing my background and skills as well as me asking them about what it's like to work there, the tools they used, culture, etc. Finally, I met with the CEO face to face (this was "the close"). And received a final call from the CEO to lock down salary, start date, and finalize paperwork. Overall, extremely positive experience, very thorough interview but, professional and relaxed. There weren't any "gotchas" and everyone I spoke with was absolutely brilliant and really knew his/her stuff. I also received an invite to attend a Tiber Training session (held every other month) followed by a company sponsored happy hour to meet the group and interact with all the employees. I was unable to attend the day it was scheduled but that wasn't a deal breaker for me or them. Overall, they're a very selective firm and they don't usually take applications so most interviews happen after they recruit you because of experience and skills and they've already looked into you and determined you'd be a good fit or through employee referrals. If you do get an interview, then I would absolutely take them up on it.
