I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Theta Oilfield Services (Bakersfield, CA) in Jan 2016
Interview
You'll be invited on-site for an interview. Some of the developers are local and you'll get to meet them in a boardroom. Others are off-site and you'll get to meet them in a video conference call. The crew is very personable and pleasant, if a little quiet. But if you're a geek you already know what programmers are like. Make sure you ask all your hard questions about work environment, the code base, and so on.

Question 1
You'll have to give an overview of your technical skills and experience, and also answer some technical questions to demonstrate that you know what you're doing. Brush up on .NET technologies like LINQ and reflection, especially from a C# perspective. Make sure you know some of the quirks of the language.
