I applied online. I interviewed at The Young Foundation (London, England)
Interview
It was a two stage interview process, with the second interview including a test. The test was only 15 minutes but managed to contain a snapshot of what the job role amounted to, so was well tailored.

Question 1
The questions were about getting to know me, my motivations and experience.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at The Young Foundation (London, England) in May 2023
Interview
4x competency based questions (between 300-500 words each) followed by a follow-up interview of 6-8 other questions about my experience as a researcher. I should preface this was an interview at the ICS (part of the Young Foundation). They sent the interview questions over less than 24 hours before the interview, despite me asking at the time they sent the calendar invite if they would like me to prepare anything, they said no. They were 4 weeks late in the entire process due to being “busy”. The interview consisted of two people. One was a senior researcher who seemed hungover/disinterested and clearly reading a script with limited enthusiasm. One was some sort of director. The questions asked weren’t all relevant to the job specification. The job advert said they would give feedback to all candidates who made it to interview. No feedback was ever given.

Question 1
What experience do you have with coproduction/collaboration?
2 rounds, online, comptency-based. Panel were very friendly and approachable and made me feel comfortable. However, communication from HR was poor, I was left waiting weeks before finding out the outcome (unsuccessful). Requested feedback but my email was not responded to.
