Really straightforward and the people were lovely! I knew what was happening at each stage of the interview process. All of the interviews were done over video (Google Hangouts) and I got follow-ups really soon afterwards.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Intern Group
Interview
Interview process is fairly easy. For the role of placement coordinator, it will be an initial screening call with a manager / member of the placements team. The questions will be initially competence / fit / personality based, then there will be a few scenario based questions. For example: What would you do in the scenario if you had a host organisation unsure about making an offer to an intern or vice versa ? Managing stakeholders etc. This will be followed by a task for you to complete in your own time, this task will be similarly based on scenarios in account management / customer success. It is easy, don’t overthink it. The next step there will likely be a follow up call with a more senior member who will also assess the fit and capabilities. The next stage would be an offer / rejection. In my case, they got back to me quickly with a low offer. In other cases, they have taken longer to get back to potential candidates.

Question 1
How would you deal with an intern (candidate who has paid for the program) who is being unresponsive / not replying? How do you approach time management? Working in a remote environment?
