I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Dog Patch (Port Coquitlam, BC) in Jan 2024
Interview
The interview process was a bit uncomfortable because several questions were focused on my personal home life instead of my professional experience. It felt unexpected and made the interview awkward.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Dog Patch
Interview
I applied on the website and was invited to interview. It ended up being a group interview consisted of a questionnaire and then a tour and then we asked questions, the whole thing was just under 2 hours. I was invited back to do a "working interview" the following which was basically just shadowing the current front desk and asked questions while we worked. I was there for over 4 hours and didn't speak with the owner until the last 20 min or so. I was told they'd get back to me and never heard anything so I had to reach back out. Everything seemed very a bit chaotic and unorganized. It also sounds like there's a lot of turnover. The amount of work to how much they'd want to pay is probably why people don't stay.
