Waste. Of. Time. (This is the MOST honest review on here...trust me)
I applied for what I believed was the community outreach specialist position...it was everything but that. They use “title bait” to get you to come to the interview. For anyone that comes across that posting...it’s simply a brand ambassador job. You have to be at marketing events all day, everyday. You know the people that always try to flat iron your hair in the middle of the mall?? That’s what this job is basically. Only you’re not at the mall...you’re wherever they place you and there to bug people about what you need to sell.
I got an invite for an interview the same day I applied and they made it seem as if they had to fill the position urgently and were sooo impressed with my resume that they had to interview me the next day. Know this: THEY DO NOT REVIEW RESUMES. I’m over qualified for the position but I believe the interviewers are measured based on how many interviews they can schedule in a day. So they do what they have to do just to get you there. If you do go, know that you will see a very diverse group of people waiting in a lobby that looks nothing short of a auto shop waiting area. Some were dressed professionally, some had on jeans. The “receptionists” had on mini dresses (think forever 21 mini...not professional mini) with knee high boots and were answering their personal phones saying “HR”, a joke! Speaking of...the office building they’re located in could double as the perfect venue for a haunted house at night. It’s obvious the caliber of people they higher and value of work that they do is quite low...
I waited for over 30 min for my interview to begin so don’t think you can go on a lunch break...they have poor time management at this place so plan accordingly.
The interview itself wasn’t difficult. It was really high level and relaxed. Eerily relaxed. I knew that this wouldn’t be the job for me when I walked in but if you don’t get that vibe then, you’ll get it in the interview. They aren’t looking for quality...just quantity.
Ultimately I requested that my resume not be forwarded on to be considered for the next round of interviews. I just wanted the hour I wasted back.
