The interview process at Techmicra was quite challenging and technically intensive. The focus was mainly on RDBMS concepts and SQL queries. I was asked in-depth questions on database fundamentals such as normalization, primary and foreign keys, joins, indexes, and constraints.
A significant part of the interview involved writing and optimizing SQL queries, including complex joins, subqueries, aggregate functions, and real-world query scenarios. Some questions tested logical thinking, performance considerations, and edge cases, which made the process difficult.
Overall, the interview was tough and detail-oriented, especially for candidates with a strong database background. Good hands-on practice with SQL and a solid understanding of RDBMS concepts are essential to clear it.
