I interviewed at THE-TOPNOTCH (CA) (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
There was an initial brief phone screening to ask about my background and resume, about 10 minutes. The follow up interview was a group interview. It was not personal at all, and we were asked no questions about ourselves. It was more like a pitch of why we should want to work there, and we were then sent a “quiz” after about what we learned in the interview.

Question 1
What is the difference between direct and indirect marketing?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at THE-TOPNOTCH (CA) (Los Angeles, CA) in Feb 2025
Interview
There were 3 rounds of interviews. The first was more of an intro where the interviewer asked me questions and it was over in 5 minutes. The second was a group interview (that was not specified) where she asked us barely any questions about ourselves and mainly pitched the company. It was here that I realized this was not marketing, but just sales. She also said they do not do hourly but rather salary and you may have to work overtime frequently and weekends. She then separated us and asked a bit more about ourselves, I got offered the job and turned it down because it was clear this was more of a door to door / pop up sales job NOT marketing.

Question 1
"What is direct and indirect marketing?" "What is one thing that makes you qualified for this position?"
I applied online. I interviewed at THE-TOPNOTCH (CA) (Culver City, CA)
Interview
It was short, they asked ice-breaker questions, small group format, rounds of interview process, first round is informal get to know you questions. They don't disclose pay in the first round. It seems really vague.
