I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at T&T Power Group (Waterloo, ON) in Jul 2022
Interview
Interview lasted about 1hr. We toured the facility, talked about the job in detail, we did a bit of a component identification test where they asked if I was familiar with some electrical components and parts of a diesel engine. They assured me that even though my knowledge might be limited they were willing to take on the right person and train them from the ground up. We discussed the use of the company truck and the technology used for communicating and creating/submitting work orders. We also discussed training and working along side a trainer/mentor. At the end of the interview they indicated that they are not the type of company to let job applicants hang and wonder if they got the job or not. They said they would let me know by the end of the week if I would be moving forward with them or not. 3 weeks went by with no response. I tried emailing after 3 weeks, 4 days went by with no response. I finally emailed another department and got a response immediately. They indicated that they just discussed my application and the decision was to move forward with other candidates.
